It looks we have a ‘one in, one out’ policy. Watson comes in, Dallas leaves. I’m thinking the wage bill is frozen to minimise running costs. We’ll know tomorrow if we have a better squad/team than last year. I’m looking forward to a home win.

Maybe Lopata out, so we can get a striker in with the one-in-one-out policy, like you say. In CH we trust!

I certainly trust conor and mladen knows he's got to back him and involve him when previous it was obvious mladen and clarke didn't work together on transfers

Well I don't think Conor fancies Lopata

Good. These last few years has left us in a mess and having some discipline won't be a bad thing.

One in one out like a nightclub. Was to be expected but we got shut of some decent earners in Benson and Cosgrove I'd of thought.

Club looking to.loan out Jackson Smith and also looking to move on Nwakali.

On top of those 2 and Lopata hopefully that could give us the opportunity to bring in a CB and a CF to complete the squad Conor wants.

Conor said he s only after a RB and striker... He's happy with his CB and believes most of the problems were tactical rather than individual player problems... Plus he mentioned Shep is a new player since coming back

Knowing the rate we ship money every month, we'll be paying the wages of players we loan in, whilst covering the wages of those we loan out.

    Barnsleynomics.

I'd agree to a degree. But this was a must get signing into the club. Given the defensive situation. I see no reason to not have let Dallas go earlier as it was clear conor wanted him offloaded as not part of his plans. And free up wages regardless.

Maybe we should ask the EFL for a handout like they have just given that massive club down the road

Even if we are paying some of the wages of players we loan out, its better than paying full wages for them to sit here doing nowt mate. Doubt it mind.

I wouldn't think we're paying a penny of the players loaned out.

Yeah I did think that as well, especially in this years January window.
Maybe Clarke was a bit too mouthy and didn't get on with M'lad.
But then again, that was his job as manager/coach wasn't it ?.

Me neither mate. If any, more than likely the proper youngsters who have gone down very low in non league who are only on a couple of hundred a week, if that

This season will be dictated by how many of DKD, Phillips & to a lesser extent Connell & Russell are still here when the window shuts. Keep all 4 & the play offs are a realistic goal.
