For the last two plus decades I have had season tickets in the east stand, in three different seats over two periods with a couple of off years in the middle when my eldest was young, I had to work weekends, and we were skint. I haven’t renewed this year; my lad works weekends now. But he’s off Saturday so we’ve booked - and are sitting in the west stand. He’s never been in there. I haven’t for probably nearly twenty five years. I bet it hasn’t changed whatsoever…
I don’t mind sitting in the West Upper. I’m in the Ponty End Saturday and the East Upper on Wednesday though.
Been watching from West Stand/Terrace for 53 years, initially from other side of the old tunnel. Probably my favourite place on earth.
Apart from the new terracing that was put in place to accommodate the seating, and when the ‘new’ press box was built during Clarke’s first tenure
There's nothing quite like watching from the west stand seeing a 25 yarder curling in, being behind it all the way knowing the keepers never getting near it.
We sit west lower and have done for a fair few years now. Cracking view and don’t think I’d swap it for anywhere else in ground.
As a child I was East stand upper... Now I sit West Lower with my lad who likes to appreciate the speed involved that's evident at that level
