    Barnsley Football Club can confirm that Andy Dallas has joined Southend United on loan until the end of the 2025/26 season.


    The Scotsman will link up with the National League outfit until the end of the current campaign.

    Good luck to him. Don’t think he’s quite the standard we need but he’s scored at tier five level in the past.

    As mentioned that’s him to the end of his current deal I believe; hope he does well wherever he ends up in the future.

    Looking at another on-loan striker; if MaxG keeps bagging one a game in the SPL and in Europe I can see us exercising that twelve month extension we have the right to! If only to increase the transfer fee to sell him!

    It’s funny how every player comments on how massive the club is, whoever they have signed for. I’ve never thought of Southend as massive though
