What a joke taking them off for light. There's bloody floodlights. Absolute fannies

Different threshold for a red ball. It is much harder to see under the lights than the white one

Brook solely responsible if England lose this no need to do what he did England would have strolled it.

With the storm giving us a downpour tomorrow it would be a shame if it ends a draw.

You are seriously blaming a player who got 111 runs and put us in prime position to win and leaving the last 6 batsmen to get 70 runs if we fail. That’s some leap

I'm one of Crawley's biggest defenders and think his role is vital. However, good a yorker is I would expect any top order batsman with a start to dig it out with relative ease. Its a ball you bowl to beat an attacking shot or undo a new batsman/tail ender.

No.. i was comparing them to the great India players i mentioned who are either recently retired or injured. Comparing who would get into each side between England and India when we play such different styles would be near pointless.

I'm not trying to dismiss your opinion as it's just as valid as mine.. but for me England have not played consistently well. Both Test wins have been by pulling off ridiculous last innings performances having been outplayed for most of the match.. and if we win this test it would be similar. Not to mention requiring bowling all our pace bowlers into the ground despite their problems with injuries.

I think its hard to deny that over the entire series, India won far more days than England... All credit to England for having this never say die approach but there have been numerous times where it could have been avoided.

No denying its an all time great series though and i dont remember so many close finishes ever. Great to watch as I said.

This is what's bad about Cricket. It should be finished today on a weekend with a full house and loads watching around the world from home.

I think day/night tests are played with pink balls as they are deemed safer under floods.

I believe both sides agree not to use floodlights ( or vice versa ) at the start

I've loved this thread. It amuses me how reactive some people are. I wonder how many people in the thread have actually played cricket properly at local amateur level.
People talk about shot selection like they have all the time in the world to decide what to do.
I remember facing some 70mph deliveries from a bowling machine and I didn't know what was going off!

Pressure comes in to it also.

Following the loss of Bethell's wicket (5 runs from 31 deliveries) England scored 5 runs from the next 6 overs. Smith 2 not out from 17 balls and Overton 0 not out from.8 balls.

    Bazball?

No good for the sold out crowd today. The rain stopped they should have got back out under the lights and finished it.

Now it will end tomorrow with less people watching.
