    The way football has become, I think that it would be appropriate for team names to be up for sale too. Clubs now have as much connection with sponsors and business as they do with locality.
    Maybe team names are almost considered sacred; I can't see Barcelona known as FC Tesla (or whatever the case may be), but why not?

    Tbf, many teams in Europe and South America have loads of Sponsors on their shirts, it’s nothing new. This one is a bit extreme though!

    I think regulations in the EPL/EFL do not permit it though - otherwise I’d suggest we’d see a lot more over here too.
