Quick funny story before I start writing up a bit of a match report. I had walked out of the ground towards the Empress roundabout where my other half was stuck in the almost stagnant traffic (all caused by a bus parked outside the ground by the way). I knew she would be some way up the line and eventually I found her and got in the car. Within a couple of minutes though we were passing the home exits and I spotted two lads in red training gear walking along the pavement towards us. It was Adam Phillips and Davis Keillor-Dunn. Why they were walking that way is a mystery, but never mind that.

My passenger side window was wide open and I was just leaning out to congratulate DKD on his great game when my partner decided to blast the horn (why? No idea!). Adam was carrying two round bowls of something with lids on and, in a kind of cartoon comedy style, they flew out of his hands landing upside down on the pavement. DKD was laughing his head off and I just had time to say "Great game, Davis" before we were past them. He graciously thanked me so obviously didn't hold it against me that his supper was almost lost!

Just one of those funny, unexpected things I suppose. Well, I laughed anyway. I don't think Adam did though.;)

Maybe that incident will convince him that he needs to be on his way. I mean, fancy one of us fans scaring him like that! Shocking....:D

I know I shouldn’t find it so funny but I’ve just read it through again and had another chuckle to myself:). The picture is still fresh in my memory and it really was funny to watch it happen, but I didn’t see Adam laughing.

Yes I thought it was the team bus and the driver obviously had no clue how much inconvenience he was causing the traffic trying to leave Harrogate. Supporters buses are not allowed to stop there but they obviously make an exception for the team bus.

As for throwing anything at us we were past them by the time he’d picked the bowls up and I’m sure he didn’t feel like chasing us
