    Just ignoring his goals for a minute, if you’ve got time, there’s plenty of footage of him on YouTube (some in black and white :cool:) and just watch his link-up play. It’s so good. I can see it now. DKD, Fabs, Reyes etc, all playing off him, little flicks round the corner etc.

    I can’t grumble at any of the incomings so far. Which is rare. They all make sense to me.
    Not that it means much. Only time will tell.

    Seriously? It's a no lose signing - 1 yr deal, won't be big money, brings a lot to the squad etc. Look at his last 3 seasons stats. Just look at them. Sure it's mentioned elsewhere but lee Gregory scored 1 in 2 in this league last season and he's not in the same category. We made it look very hard last season but decent strikers will score lots of goals in L1. And he is a decent striker. Good deal for me.....

    It's fine as long as its not "the main striker deal" he'll bring experience etc but wouldn't want to be soley relying on a 37 year old as our main man in a 46 game season playing high press high energy football.

    Its a risk. However i would rather have a 37 year old who can play like a 27 yr old than a 27 year old who plays like a 37 yr old. Age isnt only a number, the body tires, takes longer to repair and recover and is weaker and slower. Otherwise sign him for 5 years. But having said that it seems its a risk worth taking as he has quality, experience, guile and recent good history. The success wont come from one signing so we have more to do to make this squad work.
