Well if he goes there, that just shows what a mess we're in.
Although maybe he thinks they are Lutaarn.

Yeah but they have just been struggling in Lg Two.
So better money is the only thing they can offer, at the moment anyway, compared to us in Lg One.

True but it's football mate all about the money and at a guess mk dons will be offering Humphrys more than anyone else is willing to.

Tbf, many of our fans would have driven him to MK.

Yep, something he will consider, if he has a poor patch.

All depends who his replacement is.. if we continue our decline in standard of signings then it may end up being very much a great loss

    If or when?

    24/25 - 9 league goals
    23/24 - 9 league goals
    22/23 - 3 league goals
    21/22 - 5 league goals
    20/21 - 11 league goals
    19/20 - 5 league goals
    18/19 - 9 league goals
    17/18 - 2 league goals
    16/17 - 2 league goals

He's knocking on 28 and only managed to get into double figures once. Half a decade ago. Can hardly criticise fans for not being happy with that level of return

And a hell of a lot of our fans were screaming for him to sign a longer deal at the end of last season..
    Let's see if there's a 'better' replacement.

They’ll probably change their mind when they see the replacement. Almost certainly be a downgrade and could even be Farrugia.

Maybe that's down to him being lazy, and maybe being messed about as well by Clarke.
Conor got better out of him though in that end of season spell, maybe for various reasons.
And I think some of us were hoping to see him stay, if he could show more of that.

Did he play well in the last 7 in the hope of a better deal elsewhere. Let's face it 1st half of season I wouldn't have paid him in washers.

I quite liked Humphrys. Was clearly decent at the end of the season when playing left wing and I thought he was quite good at the start of the season too. Just had a bit of a mare in the middle but wasn’t he also very ill at one point? May be a reason for his dip in form. Or maybe he’s just a standard league 1 player that has his ups and downs throughout a season.

I wanted us to extend his deal as I thought Hourihane would get the best out of him at left wing. However he’s clearly a mercenary that doesn’t care what team or what level it is, whoever offers the most will get him. Fair play I suppose. For some it is just a job.

I don’t think Conor got best out of him at all, I think Humphry’s (or whatever they call him ha) got the very best out of himself at the end of the season to make sure he got suitors at the end of it, he was as lazy as they come for biggest part of last season.

I suggested 'maybe' he was, and wonder if he and Clarke didnt get on for one reason or another.
Or was it just down to sheer laziness on his part. And I do find that to be the easiest one to believe.
