They'll find some loop hole at the last minute to avoid playing by the rules, and being the massive club that they are, the powers that be, will some how overlook it, until they get them back to the dizzy heights of the top table in English football.
Would this ban be lifted if they get new owners? See Mandaric is trying to help persuade Chansiri to sell now. Wish he'd butt out.....
Think we should get our own house in order first. It's no fkin picnic at Oakwell at the moment is it ?
Yes, I'm usually one of the first to laugh at any misfortune for that lot at S6. Not so much at the moment though cos we're not exactly sitting pretty....and that's at a level down.
See where you're coming from, but, living in Sheffield I'm loving it. Having a detrimental effect on my wallet and health though, as I'm down the pub every evening taking the ****. Long may it continue.
Whilst our losses aren't great, they've been absorbed by equity, Neerav and Co haven't saddled us with debt, bills are paid etc. This is what happens to clubs that chase the dream living beyond their means.
Well we are a little. As it stands we are paying our staff and players their wages. We have training facilities available when players return at end of month. We have a coaching staff in place to train said players. We have preseason games scheduled. We're pretty sure we'll be able to play the first game of the season...
Nothing to laugh at! We need to get our own house in order, we are NOT a stable club anymore. What happens once the sellable assets are sold? (not as though there’s anyone left DKD & John Russell, maybe Adam Phillips). Much as I hate Sheff Wed, long term, they are in a much stronger position than us to bounce back and unfortunately much more investable to the outside world, plus they will be afforded the loopholes of the EFL for potentially being a big club, BFC wouldn’t get that luxury (more like Bury treatment). I’m more worried about the future about BFC than any other club even to laugh at Wednesdays current predicament.
Appealing on what grounds? They have failed to pay players and staff on time for the umpteenth time. They have had a number of warnings and softer punishments. If Chansiri is trying to drag it out then it won't end well.
