Totally weird move. For some reason I don't hate the Blunts, just the Pigs. Wilder was the perfect fit for them. I'd be surprised if they go up next season now.
The way he's being treated is disgusting. Even Sky Sports News are now reporting that he's "expected to be sacked in the next few days."
2 point deduction aside, it would have been an equal record for the blunts (points wise). Not only that, it would have resulted in promotion in the majority of recent seasons. I think it's an absolute barmy decision. And I hope it bites them on the ass. Doesn't deserve that tbh. As usual it's the loyal supporters that are sat there probably scratching their heads wondering wtf.
Why did the owners give him the new contract in January? I guess he will be due a decent pay out. I didn't like his conduct during the blunts away loss to Plymouth, he mocked them at the final whistle and said you're going down and then tried brawling with some of Plymouth's players in the tunnel. He was clearly losing his head at that point, but then to come out and say "I'm a big boy, I can take it". Give over, Chris, happy to dish it out but you got very mardy when it was thrown back at you.
