I just don't know if refs would be able to handle it mate. There's no point in having a box in that case - may as well let ref use their discretion. We know how horrendously bad they are already without adding guess work to their job. I think most teams would rather opposition player got sent off over a penalty anyway mate unless really late into a game. Imagine the offending player who conceded the penalty would go on to score the winner. Itd be gut wrenching.
Hope you're doing well bud !

Remember home against Bolton a few seasons ago, and it was after only 10 minutes.
They scored from the awarded pen, but we had Mads sent off as well. It started outside, and not surprisingly the attacker flopped down when inside.
Defending teams shouldn't be double-punished like that. So that's why I wish they would look into trying to change some rules, in a positive way.
But I agree though, at times players and refs are a law onto themselves, and do some really stupid things!.

Aye mate you are correct but that should have been a free kick or a penalty but Mads stayed on. Just **** refereeing again as we are used to these days! I wouldn’t be against rule changes but they'd obviously have to be looked at properly and referees trained better. I love it when prem fans moan about refs.. wait until you see what they're like in lower leagues!!

Imagine going in at a Ref and Celebrities for raising money. Turn TV off, give your head a wobble and go for a walk.

Scrutinizing and dissecting a charity football game.

Seriously; some folk need to step back from social media for a few weeks.

go on then, tell me Paddy Mcguinness didn't spoil a fun game, he's about as mobile and agile as a tree trunk, I'd have been well pissed off with him if I'd been one of his team mates!

FFS. It's a charity event, a fun game. No one but sadsacks like yourself is getting upset about it.

Only stat that's relevant is that £15m was raised for a very good cause.

Me and my lad loved it. Tevez was brilliant to watch and we went barmy when the big lad scored. Was more entertaining than the majority of games you see these days

Tevez still looked like he'd tear this league up at 41 year old. Can we have him as a Norwood type, who cares if he could only manage the first 45 mins if he's already put us eight nowt up.
