That penalty she gave Accrington against us was a classic. Unbelievable.

I suppose they can't really send players off in an ex pro and celebrity friendly like this.
But their keeper (whoever he is) should have gone lol.

And yet, her refereeing performance that day was only the 3rd worst we faced that week.

Can Paddy McGuiness get any less funny and less talented lol, who keeps asking him to be the keeper!!.
And there should have been TWO red cards lol, but she let them both go.

Paddy shouldn't be invited back next year...He makes some of our keepers from last season look half decent. The last one he let in, he went to tackle the ball by sliding with his feet to try and save it.

Thats not really the point though, in fairness.
Paddy is terrible as a keeper, and even more so, the ref should have sent their keeper off.

Anyway if it was a real game of footy lol.
That's one rule I've always hoped to see changed.
Should the refs be allowed to award a pen, even when the incident is outside the area ?.
The attacking team keep their scoring opportunity, and there's no red card so the defending team keep eleven on the pitch.
Two similar incidents that spring to mind here involve both Barnsley and England, so it does annoy me.

McGuiness was embarrassing , I know it’s a charity game but when it’s a goal a shot it spoils the game

One of many clown in black shows that season. That was the season I gave up going to vast majority of matches. I stopped being a mug, thinking I was spending my money to watch the football, when really it was to watch the referees make a name for themselves. Wembley was the icing on the cake, which I didn't go to, as I knew what was going to happen.

So just a penalty from anywhere on the pitch mate? Itd be about 49-48 the scoreline (obviously Wednesday would always get an extra 1 ;))

No of course not lol, I said in an attacking situation, not too far outside the area.
And especially if a clear goalscoring chance is denied, by a foul.
In that incident tonight for example, the keeper clearly and deliberately handled the ball, thus stopping a certain open goal.
And those other incidents I mentioned, where an attacker was through on goal, and the last defender brings him down.
It should be a penalty all day long, every time!.
