Had the pleasure of seeing this comedy legend in the Only Fools musical last night! He was brilliant as Grandad plus a brief appearance as Uncle Albert. Would highly recommend it if you're a fan - despite knowing what they are going to say before they say it as they are linked to the TV shows. Whitehouse is great in most things - Gone Fishing is a must watch. The perfect buddy show. He's touring with the Fast Show as well later in the year - going to see if there are tickets anywhere.
Intend going at some stage. As for 'Gone fishing'. Have to say, its a great watch, even if like me, you find fishing boring. Him and Mortimer, together are quality.

I thought the Fast show got very boring very quickly, as one episode was just like every single other one. Just like The Royle family there of course. And I can't stand fishing, so I've no interest in watching him or Mortimer telling bad jokes to some fish, in a back garden pond.
