    Imho...I thought Senegal were deserving of the win and should have been in front at half time.
    Totally outplayed England and would have beaten us 9 out 10 times...well done the opposition and a good kick up the ar#e for us.

    My opinion was that Southgate did a really excellent long-term job, but it possibly needed someone else to get us over the line in major tournaments. On the evidence so far, that "someone else" isn't Thomas Tuchel.

    What was my favourite line to all the Southgate doubters.
    Be careful what you wish for !!!!.
    At least under Southgate they were a group .
    This lot look divided and very unhappy.
    Early days but need a bit of team camaraderie from where I'm watching.

    After watching the Spain vs. France game last week, we are no where near them on current form.

    Yet again, some of the best talent in the world, which can't be molded into a cohesive unit.

    On a brighter note, my Aussies will be over here next year for the World Cup.

    Same coaching school as all of them. ill keep banging the drum but st George's park and the enforced 'badges' for coaches is ruining football

    Senegal superb tonight, quicker, stronger, more desire and generally wanted it more!!!

    Piss poor tonight…….Thought we looked better when Jude come on and the goal was a joke tbh but we didn’t deserved anything tonight!!!

    Bang on. England are miles away from being tournament winners. We’re so slow and predictable and easy to defend against. Take away Kane’s goals and it’s hard to see where else they’ll come from. Plus the defence is dodgy too.
    No matter who’s in charge the coaching seems to be based around the same Pep ball tactics.

    Agreed. Most of them have shone in the Prem this season. And the left full back who I’d never heard of was their best player.
