But Ive wondered, what if Conor and some of the players, were there at some of Callum's future Oakwell fights.

 

His best punches are his hook and uppercut though, so needs to be up close to use them.

 

Absolutely buzzing after that, totally awesome atmosphere. Was lucky enough to be down near the ring which I’ve never done before, bloody brilliant. A total credit to the town and his profession.

 

Wish the town had a venue for him big enough for the colder months, so he didn't he to go to Sheffield.

On that showing Jeffers isn't in the same league as Callum be that inside or outside the ring
If you saw jeffers pre fight interview, on arriving at Oakwell, I'm sure you'd agree. Arrogance at its best, however Karma at its finest

What a night. Oakwell looked fantastic and it seemed like they sorted a lot of the queue issues from, last time round. Loved it. Well done Simpson.

He doesn't have to go to Sheffield. His last one there, he was a late replacement is only a 2.5k, seater. Fight in the spring/summer. Its not compulsory to fight in winter. It was about a year between scheduled fights.
I wouldn't be surprised if he got a shot at the world title. It would be somewhere bigger or more lucrative than oakwell imo. The world is now his oyster. But would a world championship want to fight on enemy territory so to speak. Oakwell could possibly cater for 22-24k. Regardless of half the west stand being shut.

Ok that's good to hear.
And surely then in the first home game of the new season, Callum should be there showing off his title belt again. And getting the credit he deserves of course, at half time.

 

Hate country Rd. Was hoping timerider would welcome him out tbh. If I'd be able to pick my own in boxing it'd be Thunderstruck.
But great atmosphere. Great fight. A few silly shenanigans around the stadium. Even one just outside the toilets after I came out in the upper tier. But generally sorted without mass brawls forming. Kin idiots.
Beer and other refrehments sold aplenty with not much queueing. 5 mins max. From those I encountered. Tills ticking over well.
