I reckon the goalie couldn't see it. From well out, if I remember right. I was on the side and had a fair view if you could call it that.
Big gap between the 8th and 19th. I wonder if they'll be away at their "training camp" then? Assuming they're still doing one.
For those of you that like Tap Rooms, check out Harrogate Brewery - It's only ten minutes walk from the ground and has some excellent ales on offer. They also often have street food vans on site. Taproom - Harrogate Brewery
No issue with no home games (if people want to go so badly, emley is ten minutes away) however no real quality opposition is very disappointing. Hopefully there will be some BCD games
"however no real quality opposition is very disappointing." That's what Alfreton and Emley fans are saying.
Good point, however would be nice to play someone of a good standard for preparation into the season. Beating non league sides won’t do them any good in the long run
It's well worth a trip... in fact I make about three trips a week although it's literally 200yds from my house! There's also loads of street parking between there and the ground.
I remember playing WBA who I recall being in the Premiership at the time to celebrate the 100th anniversary of our FA Cup win.I believe the crowd was just over 2000 and there was more from West Bromwich than Barnsley. There doesn't seem to be much appitite for friendly fixtures at Oakwell so I won't be losing any sleep playing these fixtures away.
We were stood behind the goal where Bell scored and everyone could see clearly. However, anything beyond the halfway line was simply not visible.
An annual Spain trip is one of the easiest fan engagement activities you could ever imagine. Madness we don't do something like imho
Just go and laik a 3rd division team 30 mins from Alicante and give us all what we want - 2 nights in Benidorm.
