    On Sunday 1 June, kicking off at 3pm, we host a Sellebrity match in support of Alder Hey Children's Hospital.

    Watch your favourite celebrities from TV, music, and sport battle it out on the pitch to raise funds for a truly worthy cause.

    Expect fun and games, incredible goals, and lots of laughs as celebrities from all walks of life team up for an afternoon of friendly competition. Whether you’re a die-hard football fan or just here for the fun, this is a match you won’t want to miss!

    Come for the celebrities, stay for the action, and cheer on your favourite stars as they make their mark at Barnsley FC!

    "Sellebrity Soccer". Presumably "Celebrity Soccer" would have got them done under the trade description act.

    Why so negative. Its a charity match. One of many, that group have lined up.
    Gillingham
    Sunderland
    Arsenal
    Brighton
    Among many others.

    £20max or less if you wish. to a charity of your choice as that's what it's for. If less than 51. Above that, you pay. Either way the Charity wins.

    Not that it matters as the focus was on the attendance. Possibly 5 on that photo. (4 from Benders and monty) But 13 on the selebrity site. (I'm guessing the teams will be based on availability.)
    I'm pretty sure most would recognise some of the 30+ on there.
    And tbh I'd hardly recognise most of those that play at old Trafford.

    It's worth 20 quid just to watch calctge dragon in goal. A man with 1.9m tiktok followers because he thinks he's a world class goalkeeper. He once claimed to be equal to Manuel Neuer and also that he was a better goalkeeper than Jordan Pickford. Better shot stopped, better command of his area and better at facing penalties.

    I recognise two on there who used to be on Easties. Dean Gaffney (Robbie) is one, but I can't see his dog Wellard. :rolleyes:
