Paddy Lane would be a fantastic signing. Sadly, I reckon he'll have a few suitors in our division.

I vaguely recall seeing an interview from the Yorkshire Post with Mladen, basically confirming that Shepherd will be part of our first team plans next season. Nothing mentioned about Lopata, though I think the YP were asking specifically about Shep as he's at Bradford.

Rob Street the lad from Lincoln would av been top of mi list, but he'll be expensive, so heres one, maybe interesting type, an a player we need.

Nathon lowe, from Stoke, did a job for Walsall,

If Conor is looking to play with wingers, Reeco Hackett from Lincoln should be on his shopping list. Skubala kept playing him at left back earlier in the season, much to the frustration of the fans. Has been used much further forward recently, to great effect. If Humphrys leaves he's one we should definitely be looking at, but even if he stays Hackett would be a great addition to the squad. Has a year left on his contract so shouldn't cost a huge amount.

I don’t think he’s a realistic signing as we’ve already got more than enough centre backs but Matty Pearson is getting released by Huddersfield.

He’s scored 17 in 134 games for Huddersfield, that’s a better scoring rate than most of our forwards!

Just read bolton set to release nathan Baxter, ricardo Santos and gethin jones.

Would have Baxter for goalkeeper, pretty sure they were turning down championship interest start of season. Whether he ends up in the championship anyway could well be a possibility.

It’s claimed that Sheff Utd are abandoning scouts for an AI analysis system from the US Shortcurcuit.science to identify new players

I imagine he'll be on the list of everyone in League 1.

I think Elkan Baggott is out of contract at Ipswich too. 23 year old centre half. 6ft 5. Spent the season at Blackpool and whilst he only played 17 times due to injury, he's getting rave reviews on their forum.

And probably every other player mentioned on this thread but wasn't previously mentioned and looks a decent punt, [ maybe, maybe not.]

Definitely someone I have had on similar lists in previous years. He's a really good player imo

They’d have to rename Grove Street ‘Electric Avenue’.

He could always sing ‘Baby Come Back’ to Mads Andersen, and rework ‘Gimme Hope Joanna’ to ‘Gimme Hope Julie-Ann’.

(Gimme hope Julie-Ann, hope Julie-Ann, hope ‘til we’ve got white shorts on…).

Maybe a special just for Conor Hourihane, a reworking of ‘I don’t wanna dance’ to ‘I don’t wanna choose’.

(I don’t wanna choose, choose from the spreadsheet no more; wouldn’t say no to a striker though…)
