I'd take it as he doesn't know yet whether or not the club are taking up the option of an extra year. Nothing more than that
This. He'd done nothing to justify an extension until a few weeks back. Bagged 5 in 5 now so has to be worth at least a look. Could definitely go either way and tbh, I'd prefer it if he stayed. Can finish a few chances unlike Watters for a start.
It depends on what other options we'll end up with though. Do we offer him another season, or take a big risk on another American or French lower league player. I think we should look at trying to keep him on.
I think a change in head coach has galvanised him. Perhaps he’s playing where he’s most effective now. I’d say keep him
He's a talented player that could flourish if we can create a solid team that lets him do his thing. Maybe offer him a longer contract on less wages with incentives thrown in. Security must be important to a footballer.

Never understood the disgruntlement with Humphrys. Think he has had bad games but i think he’s usually given his all and offers something different. I’d definitely keep him.
If I was basing it purely on the games played under Conor, I’d be hoping he stays. But he was God-awful for a good four months prior. Fitness issues? Attitude? Played out of position? I’ll trust Conor on it. He’s delivered in recent weeks, 5 goals in 5 games.
Too expensive and anonymous for large parts of the season. Hourihane could have brought more from him, or… he could have started putting effort in to get a contract extension. We’ve got to bring costs down. I’d be saying bye to him.
