If reform get it it's more down to Labour and the Tories been useless for the last 25 years and working people fed up of it. I'd be more interested who voted for the current shower and would again if there was a election tomorrow.
I voted for them. Would I vote for them if there was an election tomorrow? No, but there isn't an election tomorrow so I'll judge them when an election is called and will evaluate them on the whole of their period in power.l and if they've improved I might vote for them or I might not. But if there was an election tomorrow I absolutely wouldn't vote Reform.
Are you happy with starmer so far? I'm not sure who I would vote if anyone. But I can see why working class people aren't voting for the main 2. Reform are labours biggest threat now not the Tories.
I voted Labour, think they’ve got things wrong and right. As already said, 11 months is not a true barometer to measure with and whether I’ll vote for them again will depend on: What they achieve (or don’t) after a full term in office, voting tactically to keep the Racists and Tories out. Lest we forget the 14 years previously. I’d like to see changes in the Labour Party, and their will be as there always are in govt
No, I'm not happy with Starmer so far. You can admit you voted Reform in the last election, there's no point trying to be coy when it's so obvious.
There are things the Labour Party could have done differently since being elected in July, but seeing as though they have been at the helm for less than 10 months I will judge them over their full term. What people need to remember is that after 14 years of the last $hit shower it was never going to get better overnight. Patience is a virtue as they say.
Some of them may not be racists, but they’ve voted for a party that is popular with racists. That in itself would keep me a million miles away from them choose how despondent I was with the other Parties. Then there is the rhetoric from their egoistical leader. Just what is attractive about Reform?
I wouldn't touch reform with a barge-pole either. I think they will hurt working-class people if they get in. I do think they strike a chord though simply because people are desperate, disillusioned and have no hope. Reform SEEM fresh and Farage is charismatic. I think he's a charlatan who has already damaged the country's economy via brexit but hey ho... I also dont think many people sit down and think a lot about politics like some on here do. Most people respond to short-term issues or issues which get media attention and dont look at the big picture. Immigration is a problem in my opinion simply because its causing anxiety but its not the root cause of society's problems. However, Reform have been very good at suggesting immigration IS a major problem and desperate people lap it up...
Yeah I agree Kam, Farage is intelligent enough to know what to say, and who to. He knows what pushes peoples buttons and what to appeal about. Especially when some of those people are disgusted and disillusioned, with those who are currently in power. That makes him very dangerous to be honest.
This is true. However you can still criticise them over their actions, cutting the WFP etc has nothing to do with the Tory’s 14 years. Labour can’t just keeping using that as their excuse, they’re the ones in power now , yet people are not seeing effective change. People are worse off. That argument works for the first few weeks sure.
This not seeing an effective change was always going to be an issue if you judge on 11 months into A parliamentary term. The last 14 years of the Tory devastation should not be underestimated. It was always going to be difficult whether you agree or not with what has happened so far.
I agree, I should have added this is why I think more people are voting Reform. Regardless of whether change is possible or not
Let’s just hope that voting Reform is just a temporary protest vote and what this Labour govt are trying to do will be beneficial to most. Always a tough task and requires more than 1 term in office.
