    I think Conor will be smart enough to break up the golden generation of Connell and Phillips that has lead to the sum total of **** all.
    Let's hope we can get a few quid for them and try to build an actual team.

    Probably a fitting result to end our ‘home’ season, sums it up perfectly.
    , the team that died of shame!
    We all know our shortcomings that over the last few games have been exacerbated by some of our better performers no longer being arsed, so.
    Wouldn’t it be great if besides skill in the correct positions, we could sign players with genuine heart like some of the ones we had in the past that we could actually relate to?
    Oh and white shorts, white shorts would be nice.

    They should be embarrassed. Players, coaches and anyone else involved in the first team. One of the worst seasons in my 43 years on the planet. Absolute gash from the Mansfield opener to this latest loss.

    I know there’s a game still to go, but I’m away so doubt I’ll be around to pass comment.

    We should be thankful that Conor Hourihane wasn't given anymore games in charge as we could seriously have been looking at relegation. Absolutely barmy that his performances have been rewarded with the full time gig.

    We have a board of directors underperforming and struggling, we have a Sporting Director under performing and struggling, we have a Head Coach underperforming and struggling we have a team of first team players underperforming and struggling........ Let's reward failure.

    Yes I would agree as in effort.
    There is some skill in the squad .
    But can't be arsed as I'm looking for my next contract.
    Can we have a defensive coach in place plus defenders who can be arsed .

    So much wrong with Barnsley FC at the moment it's so sad, that performance on the anniversary of the promotion to the PL just highlights the enormous problems with the playing squad coaching staff (yes including CH) and those owning and running the club on their behalf.

    As much as I like Phillips and will not dispute his touch, passing and shooting....he plays when he wants (like a few) and his application is awful on the whole....I also get the impression he's better than us.
    Good luck to him, I hope he gets his move but we need something else and I do hope its not a rairh rovers under 18!!

    How can a team that was relegated with 4 games to go have more spine and pride than ours? The supporters who've turned up each home game, culminating in this final humiliation, should be given an apology from the players, coaching staff and board. Its an absolute fùcking disgrace.
