Across all divisions set by Reading in 05/06 with 106pts. They are on 102 with 3 games left, they need 1 point to equal the League 1 points record set by Wolves.

It's a good achievement but not so good when your spending 15 million on one player in league one

Presumably they’ve already broken the record for League One spending?

    We'll never know that scenario.
I imagine they'll get a pretty packet for promotion, will sell loads more season tickets, that generates more match day revenue, promotes the club to a higher level in the city.
They'll get at least 20000 for home games, great atmosphere. Good away following.
    Meanwhile at BFC .......

They should get 20k a week Birmingham is 2nd biggest city in England. And it's same as out else winning games, investment and fans will come whichever club.

Do you have anything positive to say about Barnsley F.C., I mean anything.

They should do given they've spent more than every other team combined and already had a strong team before any of that. They've also been the beneficiaries of some horrendous refereeing decisions, both red cards in our games for example, which have given them extra unmerited points. I'm not begrudging them a good season and a promotion given how shocking they've been for so long, but they've literally paid for it and that shouldn't be ignored.
