    Carter is 18th in the world, so that was a very tough first round.

    It was quite funny earlier when Parrott was having a bit of banter with Hendry about Ronnie going on to win 8 Worlds and pass his record

    He looks like he's really up for it. I think it was Steve Davis who said before play yesterday [paraphrased] that Ronnie wouldn't be turning up here if he hadn't been putting in some serious practice time on the tables.

    Ronnie is unquestionably the most naturally talented player ever and his longevity likely makes him the all round best ever.
    But given his amazing talent and the fact that age has not stopped him competing at the top level for around 3 decades, has he actually under achieved in terms of world titles won?
    Was just an interesting topic me and my Dad were discussing at the weekend.

    No because he isn't the best all round player. John Higgins has massively under achieved. He has the best game as quoted by Ronnie himself. Mark Williams is up there because he doesn't give a f cuk on a par with Neil Robertson, Mark Allen and Jud Trump. They either win or they don't. Hey ho onto next tournament.

    As for Selby he grinds my gears. Total bore. Kyren Wilson is a cry baby and Shaun Murphy is just a bit of a tit.
