I'm DJing at Headrow House in Leeds. We're meant to be on the roof terrace, but now indoors. Can't say I'm too disappointed I'm missing it TBH.
My Dad can't be arsed so we're watching at home. Got Yorkshire on though now so some benefits of staying home!
Save yer money and get to the NCEL Division 1 Play-Off Final on Saturday. Wombwell Town v Dearne & District.
Yep. Just got here. Very, very quiet. Unlike the 'new' Dove Inn, where the music-levels are killing it stone dead.
I've sacked it off too. Miss seeing lads I attend with but even cheap, disabled ticket became not worth the money.
No thanks, I’m a Barnsley fan, take the rough with the smooth, and yes their’s been more rough than smooth. Alternatively we could all stop going and have no club
I'm wi thi. But imo, most clubs fans outside the prem and some in the championship. Would love to have had the highs and lows of watching tarn over the last 50+years. It's given me the opportunity to visit most teams that play or have played in the top 4 leagues 102+. Liverpool et al lows are not making the champions league. The lows have to happen to create the highs. This season has been hard to stomach with some of the performances. But at least we go again and live in hope of better, next.
My main trouble is I don't class promotion from League 1 as a high but consider being stuck in League 1 a massive low. One could say I'm eternally doomed to melancholy and misery .
Promotions are always an high regardless of what league you are in. Take Bury on Saturday. 8k+ in attendance. 9th tier. Same as Penistone Church fc.
I don't think the club should be in League 1. I'd have an initial spark of joy followed onto what is about to happen next season..
Makes you wonder why they couldn’t even get half that crowd when they were an established League club.
