To be fair, DKD should have had at least 3. Maybe 4. Very good save from Phillips' shot. Russell had another decent chance just wide. Weve created some very good chances today.

A poor first half ended up with us level due to a great piece of quality from Jon Russell.

Absolutely nothing of note happened in the second half aside from injuries to Jalo and the linesman - but that was from both sides.

A pretty average result, a pretty below average performance, but it’s not a defeat and a point is a point.

Russell had a decent game even without the goal, the goal makes it a shoo-in for motm but I’d also like to mention Josh Earl; not been his biggest fan, thought he was good today. Kitchingesque.

And yet those fans who wanted Clarke out, are probably the same who wanted Collins out as well.
But yeah Conor anyway, has been given the same 'deck'.

Well he’s well out of position for their goal, and extremely lucky 10/15 mins later in first half when a ball over top catches him out(as is the normal with balls over his head), he ain’t good enough mate, I know you a fan of his and admire you for your eternal defending of him..... we need to move him on, he’s continually out of position, he’s weak in the air, easily pushed off ball and has no pace, I wish he’d prove me wrong but can’t see it myself. His biggest attribute is bringing ball out of defence but I would sooner have a centre half that is good at defending and just plays an easy ball to our midfielders.

Decent second half but didn’t work the keeper anywhere near enough. On another day, DKD gets at least a couple of goals.

Silver lining I guess we didn’t concede in the second half.

Can see why they gave Russell player of the match but my vote on here will be going to Earl.

I thought we improved as the game wore on and but for some terrible finishing from DKD, we win at a canter. That’s not me having a go at him. He’s been class for the majority of the season and even today, he played well. But like Watters at Bristol, it just wasn’t his day in front of goal.

Would rather we had stuck with Flav and Bland today. No idea what merit there was in picking two loans. And, I can’t believe I’m saying it, but I think Humphrys was a miss.

Big Jon my player of the match, again. Followed closely by Phillips and Earl.

Lots of work to do this summer for all involved. Which we’ve all banged on and on about. I’m looking forward to a break from watching this group though. Not sure it’s possible but a huge reset and clear out would be lovely.

I would have thought the reason to drop Flavell was to take him out of the firing line as he looked out of his depth in the last game imho.

perhaps we have a chance of signing the chap from Villa too, I dunno.

I think Humphreys would have made a big difference today.

Agree mate, we had to take him out of firing line, no good for a seasoned campaigner playing at the back of our defence never mind a young kid from academy

Don’t think Gauci had much to do today. Can’t really tell if he’s any good or not.

Yeah agreed mate . I think we definitely need a new keeper for next season though. I don’t think young Flavell is ready.

Weird game. There was a 10 minute spell in the first half where I was scared it was going to be a repeat of the mad spell at Orient.

They looked like they would score against us every time they attacked & I was thinking this could end up 3 or 4 but credit to them we sorted things out in the second half & we were comfortably the better side the longer the game went on.

As others have mentioned Keillor-Dunn scores at least two of them chances normally. Having said I’m sure Peterborough are annoyed their final ball wasn’t good enough when they had several 3 on 2 & 4 on 3 situations in the first half. I think we just about edged it but I don’t think we can feel too hard done by with a point.

Russell, Phillips & Earl my standouts today.

Might also not be the wisest move to píss off a Premier League club when we have been trusted with him by benching him. I’m sure we will want to get Premier League loans in future.

Couple if weeks ago I questioned young flavell wether he was ready for this standard of football either the wigan or Exeter game. I got shot down and told a host of Premier League clubs were after him.

Think he’s trying too hard, he wants his 20 goal season and he’s running out of matches.

Gauci season loan then maybe. I like him for his name if nothing else. Sounds like a Sopranos character.
