Come back and shake me was her big hit. I loved the line “My sleeves are all torn, my buttons are loose”.

At least Jack won't be in the box on his own now. (I'm really sorry but couldn't resist)

Takes me back to my childhood. Jokingly called ‘Clodagh Rubbish’, but I can’t remember who by? Maybe Les Dawson?

    RIP

I can't actually remember anything she did to be honest.

She sung that abuse song PoR alluded to above. A Eurvision song I think.

I don’t think Come Back and Shake Me was referring to abuse, but I could be wrong. “Squeeze me, please me…”etc but maybe i missed the true meaning. She’s his “raggedy doll” so maybe there’s an undercurrent of violence that I never heard when it came out

What about "I'm your jack in the box and whenever love knocks I'm going to bounce up and down on your thing"?

Aye right! You were possibly too busy playing your Osmonds and David Cassidy records at the time.
