Two questionable (at best) refereeing decisions and a last minute of extra time bit of chocolate wristedness from a keeper lost him a playoff final. Failed. Aye, ok then.
Kicked us in the teeth? He went to a club in a higher division for a higher salary - after the club he ‘kicked in the teeth’ had agreed a high figure of compensation and actively wanted him to leave…
This one X comment was interesting, bearing in mind what many have thought about the club this season - "Duff proved to be one dimensional with his 532, the club threw everything into players to fit the system, but we got found out by Northampton at home and other clubs followed suit, so the sacking is on him for his lack of flexibility and the lack of in game management".
Kitching was pretty average at the start of the season. Thomas was going ok for Bristol but not amazing. I assume it was Duff’s connection with Burnley that brought him to the club. Mads was quality but again, made huge strides under Duff.
I still stand by he should have started Norwood. They were scared **** less by him in the league games!
