I think we will all have a better idea of how well Clarke’s doing come May, if we make playoffs its easy decision to keep him, if we dire in coming months he would have to go for sake of season tickets sales, the big decision the board would have to take is if it is something like “we not quite good enough but not quite bad enough “ha..... good luck to them on that front.
Why would a couple of wins have changed anyone's opinion? A run of six games with one win before that didn't change yours did it?
Notice how a certain poster has gone very quiet because we've won the last 2 but just wait until the next game where we go 1-0 behind and the muppet wil be back on here saying "sack the idiot" "he hasn't got a clue".
I don’t believe he should be sacked, just have the decision to make subs taken away. He’s dogshit at it.
Nope. I was more interested in the logic of why some people want him sacked. I certainly don't want him sacked. What's your considered opinion? Have you been consistent or have you changed your mind?
I honestly don’t think he’s up to the job, but in his defence he’s been given a squad which is probably 25 goals shy of being a contender. On that basis I’m not going to be calling for his head just yet. If he’s backed in January by the board and still struggles at home, then I think the knives will definitely be out.
I’ve never wanted him gone as he’s been doing a pretty good job for me, if anything the performances have deserved a few more points than we’ve got. He’s also getting the best out of the likes of Watters and Russell who are like different players under him. The main thing now is to turn our home form, if we can we’ve every chance at a really good season.
Negativity does mate, but football hurts,a loss can spoil your weekend, some people are not bothered about football,I wish I was same half the time,it's in mi blood,a win against Wrexham could actually change are home form,am gonna be negative here,we're at home,I can only see another loss,if I think like that, and some of our other fans think like that,I think some of players are gonna think like that, and I think that's the problem,I think some of the players in there heads have lost before even stepping on pitch,it's not easy to change your mindset.
It's not right nice trudging back up that hill after another draw or defeat. Great for those that travel mind.
Am not saying everybody is the same,I can't understand how any football fan could just stop watching football just like that, how many on this board could stop watching and thinking about football just like that because if I could I would.
The same 2-3 negative fans pipe up after a couple of defeats - “where are all the happy clappers?” The same 2-3 club eulogists pipe up after a run of two wins - “where are all the moaners now?” It’s a psychiatric study waiting to happen.
Because (IMO) its a daft, knee jerk opinion to want a manager sacked after about 20 games. It's not (IMO) a daft, knee jerk opinion to want to give a manager more time after about 20 games.
Can you imagine getting all the "throw the toys out of the pram after conceding just a goal" brigade together with the "told you so Automatic promotion is ours" tribe and putting them in a room to watch a match together whilst the rest of us sit and monitor them big brother style, be mental that would
