We know we are a work in progress, but things have been on an upward trend recently and we seemed to be on an an upward trajectory! Now we drop backwards a bit in in fair enough another disappointing home performance in a long list of them, but some of the comments are way OTT , ‘embarrassing ‘ no it’s not we lost to a team in the same division, the manager isn’t up to it etc. Now I love BFC as much as anybody but in a week when multiple lasses have died from methanol poisoning and that evil tw.at Putin is uppin the rhetoric and missile attacks, I can’t get that wound up about a game of football.
Was about to post similar. Personally, I don't think we were bad at all in the second half. First half was rancid, but after half time it was one way traffic in a match that probably shouldn't have gone ahead conditions were that bad. We weren't brilliant, but I've seen us play much worse and win or draw this season. Stockport home was particularly atrocious.
Really ,conditions were same for both sides . They seem to do OK. Our problem was we were far too deep for 60 minutes. When we got higher up the field in the last 30 we put them under the cosh.
For me it's blowing off a bit of steam & I'll always do it, as I said in an earlier post Abhorrent & I'm not wrong. Looking forward to Tuesday, hopefully we can put things right.
Agree totally mate. Defence too deep, midfield too far away from defence n so on. Also I wish he would have started Nwakali too, he should not have been dropped from line up, Connell should have been on bench following his suspension, he’s a good player but not yet back to his best prior his illness, he should be made to fight for his place after his replacement was last weeks Man o match imo.
It took over an hour to get a shot on target. Senior players like Connell and Phillips went missing. 1 point out of 6 and 1 goal isn't good enough.
Against two of the poorest teams in the league. Look at the games we've got coming up between now and NYD. We are already looking like a play offs at best team and it's not even December.
Both teams played better attacking the away end. Reminded me a bit of Oxford away last season. Was always likely to be an untidy game won by the odd goal from who managed the conditions better.
There's a section of our supporters who have massive mood swings, win a few games and get ridiculously carried away, lose a game and they throw a fit like juvenile children. Yes that was poor today fair enough everyone's entitled their opinion whatever that might be, but there's a way to do it without being a complete child about things
Should see FB. There’s one bloke wanting John Dennis back because he invested a load of money into the team.
Should be used to it, and actually getting used to it.. are two different things though. I should be used to us failing to beat this team at home every single time now, but it still bugs me I'm afraid!.
Wigan are a much better side than their position and will be nowhere near relegation end of season. Cambridge won 5 games in a row before losing to Peterborough. Context needs adding. Weve been playing better and better for a good while now, all hell has broken loose with a minor set back though.
Especially with HKR being excellent, it's gone to some of their fans heads though. Things can and do change very quickly.
