Wonder how the MAGA brigade would think if Mexico attacked over the USA borders and then somebody came up with a peace deal suggesting they could keep Texas if they pulled back?
If the bloke in Korea had been in the middle east and had some oil they would be more chance of us trying to sort him out. But little reward and high risk means us and America have stayed well clear for years.
Biden is not to blame. The USA is not to blame. NATO is not to blame. Zelensky is not to blame. Ukraine is not to blame. Even Boris is not to nblame. Putin IS to blame. 100% all the time.
It all seems a waste of lives and money. We've taken that long to allow Ukraine use of long range missiles that Russia now is ready to just pick them off. At £1 million a missile is there any wonder this country is skint? It'll all end sat round a table, signing a treaty because we can't afford it long term. Wouldn't be surprised if Trumps rhetoric is true and it will be over as soon as he assumes control.
It matters nothing as to who is to blame. Will we be all be incinerated? What efforts have been made to avoid this, in terms of peace talks? Biden is out. FFS I ******* hate Trump. Can he save us from nuclear war?
Slayer lyrics: Americon It's all about the motherfuckin' oil Regardless of the flag upon its soil In a bloodbath we pad our fuckin' greed The price is high to maintain liberty.
Because the US are happy for this war to continue. They keep drip feeding Ukraine weapons to keep the war at near stalemate & at the same time weaken Russia. They don’t give a damn about Ukraine itself.
Correct. At least that's the way I see it. There are always vested interests in any conflict. I'd be astounded if there weren't people on both sides of the house in the US who don't have their fingers in various pies in the defence industry. I'm pretty sure I remember reading that Donald Rumsfeld had to leave certain government meetings related to the Iraq war due to it being a conflict of interests. Objectively, NATO either needed to give Ukraine decisive support, or not get involved. Had either of these options been chosen, I'm pretty sure the conflict would already be over - albeit with drastically different geopolitical consequences. A long and pointless war in Afghanistan was a key factor in the collapse of the Soviet Union. I wouldn't be at all surprised if certain people are advocating for a similarly drawn out conflict in Ukraine, with the ultimate aim of it collapsing Russia's economy. Which eventually it would. Although if the war was to finish tomorrow, this would bring its own problems as the current economic boom in Russia is almost entirely as a result of increased military spending coupled with a labour shortage pushing up wages. Either way it's completely unsustainable.
The defence secretary has admitted we are no where near equipped for war. Scaling back on artillery to save money.
Trump reckons he'll end the war in 24 hours so just to hamper any potential peace talks sleepy Joe lobs a grenade in the room on his way out the door.
