Do you know, i can see now this same apathy extending to the players. Last few games didnt look like they cared. I dont think ive ever felt that about any of our squads in the past.
Defence Prices Media Midfield Stendel Entertainment Service Tippy tappy Physios West stand CEOs Marketing Strikers Management Relegation Departures Parking Owners Passing Investment Goalkeepers Stadium Recruitment Any more? The negative trend in all the above (except prices of course) is why I stopped going after 55 years. Not missing it either, can't see me returning any time soon. Respect to those who still go, but I've finished.
Reading the last few posts on here sums me up to a tee. Apathy, boredom, poor match day experience, prices, the constant swap and change of players and coaches, dreadful management from on high. Also my own personal 100 mile round trip. I'm a fairly level headed person not used to ranting and raving but I let my feet and head do the talking for me. No season ticket for the first time in ages and happy, if that applies to us in our present plight, to watch my footy on firestick tv.
Good for you if you enjoy it but quite honestly there's nothing to get into in my opinion I'm afraid.
Helen. There was nothing to "get into" last night, either being there or on tv. And it has been like that for several games.
I've still got a season ticket but these days I must miss about 25% of matches. E.g. crap weather last Tuesday nighr so couldn't be bothered but watched it on telly. I used to plan holidays or days out for when we didn't have a match but these days I don't bother. I just.miss the game. I think the main reason for the apathy is that the football we're playing is just boring. No excitement and I don't think we've got a player on the books that can get me excited. Cotter looks the best of a bad bunch but you.just know there'll be no end product. The hero worship that Connel gets baffles me. He hasn't had a decent game for 2 seasons. Last 75 minutes against Mansfield we looked half decent but its all gone to pieces since then.
