Why did they announce that there had been racist chanting from the ponty end?

    I thought the announcement came after the Yorkshire Ripper chant, for some weird reason. Then the Ponty did the IRA one with extra gusto....

    Nope - Stockport did that chant before we did. They didn’t get called out on it. It’s the IRA chant we did.

    There was a Barry Cotter chant that included IRA references, the announcement followed , then came the usual IRA / Leeds chant

    That's what I heard in the east too. I thought the announcement was because of the sky chant and the club trying badly to stop it

    Stockport fans had already chanted it well before we did. Yet there was never any mention of telling the north stand to stop.

    I think there is mention of the Ira in both the Barry cotter and the we all hate Leeds changes.

    It’s not a new thing. It’s been going on for ages.
