    What’s the thing you’ve done this weekend that’s made you happiest.

    Went to a friends’ wedding yesterday and it was lovely. Then a football tournament with my elder lad today.

    Nice chilled weekend.

    Olympics all weekend. Interspersed with a 10km run yesterday, 15km today, and 2 X weights sessions, exercise always makes me happy.

    Went for a walk in the countryside yesterday, waved with the kids at a combine harvester, and spotted several birds of prey overhead looking for any fleeing small mammals.

    Today highlight was probably a BBQ.

    After lots of muck and crap knocking out at Daughters house renovation we cleared up and started refitting yesterday. very satisfying. Cricket this morning on a glorious day then over to Wortley Wagyu for lunch with family..Pint at Spencers Cawthorne now and back to have evening BBQ in garden ...lvly

    Just got back from a 14 mile walk. Watched a bit of cricket at Stainbrough C.C. Just having a cold beer and egg fried rice on the patio.

    Said to the wife that the satisfaction it gives me is off the scale as each length emerges undamaged ..... but still the ******* stuff survives !

    Jumped on a train and went for Beers in town yesterday afternoon with the wife.
    Made me realised how much I missed the old girl, been away almost 20 years, nothing beats our town and its people and a pint of Acorn.

    Went to watch Waxahatchee @ New Century in Manc with my best mate. We've been going to see bands for the last 31 years!

    Played walking football in Birmingham. Came on as a half time sub, scored with my first touch and went on to get a hat-trick. Happy with that as had covid 2 weeks ago. Less happy with my sunburnt bonce!
