Decent fight so far. Bit of a slugfest. Chisora just ahead I'd say coming into the 7th.

    Got to be.

Joyce has absolutely no head movement, so easy to hit.

25 mins of garbage followed by a fun 5 mins.

Chisora should win by 3-4 points here to end the career of Joyce.

    Both need to retire mind.

I wouldn't say it was garbage at all. No really quality boxing, but both threw punches throughout.

    Scorecards had it about right.

Two by 4 points and one by 5 in a unanimous decision. I'm amazed at seeing all three judges of a Boxing contest being on point. No controversy here. Del Boy knocked him over and had a far better percentage accuracy for punches thrown.

    I feel for Joyce.

Decided to stay amateur to go for gold & then got robbed of a gold medal in a final he clearly won.

Ended up turning pro late as a result, his career was delayed through no fault of his own with covid & then (stupidly) took a tickover fight against Zhang & got beat twice by him & now looks an old man (which he is by boxing standards).

He ends up with no gold medal & never gets a world title shot.

On the plus side it’s a nice way for Chisora to go out (if he sticks to his word).

Two past it guys slugging it out slowly. It was like a contest from a bygone era where most heavyweight contests were like this. Thankfully these days we have a few exciting heavyweights to watch.

It's a shame both indicated they plan to carry on.

I'm at a loss as to how it can be described as garbage.

I almost backed Chisora at 6/1, but as I don't really follow boxing too closely, I decided against it.

I'd read a betting tip for yesterday saying they couldn't believe how much of a favourite Joyce was, as he clearly wasn't the same boxer now that he previously was. And whilst Chisora isn't either, he's experienced enough to manage the fight.
