Anyone watched it? I've not seen any of it but just noticed Canada have made it to the semis.

    Argentina v Canada
    Uruguay v Colombia

Not watched it but 3 out of the 4 quarter finals went to penalties. Are we seeing a pattern where, in 2 tournaments, 5 out of 8 games went that way.
It appears more teams play in the more afraid to lose mode, than Go out to win attacking and see how it goes.
It doesnt seem Columbia sat back on a lead. 5-0

I can only go by the euros, but I think on the whole it's been a disappointment. Only the lesser nations have really had a go, which I put down to the best 3rd places qualifying, gave them reason to have a crack.

Lots of pundits seem to think so, with a mixture of being knackered. With delayed covid league games + Euro 2020, they've basically had 0 time off, which is true. So a lot of people are saying fatigue. Even Rodri half way through last season said he needed a rest...

Goes straight to pens in the Copa America if they're drawing at full time

Not surprised to see Canada doing well. They played really well in the World Cup but had the toughest group with Croatia, Belgium & Morocco

Rooting for Colombia due to having relatives over there. They definitely seem to be having a proper go at it though I'm only able to get highlight reels on YouTube. They're heavily fancied to win it. You never know with Uruguay as they're always rugged but it's looking like a Colombia v Argentina final.

My pick before it started was Uruguay. Bielsa has a fantastic record and has already beaten the main sides multiple times.

One of my Argentine friends said Columbia was the team they were worried about. Haven’t seen any of it yet but their semi against Bielsa’s Uruguay should be tasty and might be worth a watch.

Ronaldo would have buried it home.

The same Ronaldo who missed a vital penalty the other day?

Except for the final, which has extra time.

I've watched the USA games, and a few others.
