    Didn't mean to imply they were lying but given the finances of many people I find it surprising that around 15% of ST sales would be at the full price when a cheaper price has been available for weeks and there's also a finance option.

    I guess some people will find it difficult to get the money together before the deadline, particularly if they're buying more than one season ticket. I only buy my own, but even then, I start putting money aside from about the middle of December onwards to pay for it. Some probably aren't in as fortunate a position as I am.

    Given the current climate, I don't think there will be as many as 15% more buying a season ticket now the deadline has passed.

    Don’t forget tho this time last season Duff didn’t leave us till mid-end of June. So yeah early bird figures are consistent - but be interesting to see what the overall difference is at the start of the season.

    Without casting aspersions, I wonder if the Rapid Telecoms initiative to provide tickets to kids are included in this year’s early bird numbers. As I recall the scheme didn’t start until later last year.

    2yr contract so may well do. I dont know how they were distributed. 110 tickets. To Adults and Children. Nice gesture. Was around end of June last year.
