Apparently Arsenal were practising their trophy lift. Looking forward to the memes at the final whistle!
So the big six all finish in the top eight with the nouveau rich chequebook darlings Newcastle making it seven. How exciting. Still there's always the FA Cup. Oh....perhaps not. They say money can't buy happiness but it certainly buys football trophies.
City's 4 premier league trophys in a row is a fairytale amazing what 2 billion spent, a manager with a offshore account, a 2 year suspended ban from Europe and 115 financial fair play breaches can get you.
https://x.com/paddypower/status/1792257719493066799 Its a joke really when Everton and forest got points deducted for one breach.
Absolutely but City can employ the best lawyers on the planet and EPL can’t so i suspect they will get away with it. Stinks really
I dont know how many times people keep saying it mate but it takes time to go through 115 charges - have you by chance read them all in detail? It does make me laugh people accusing them of cheating because they've spent money when only 10 years ago it was the norm haha. Saw a United fan moan about it and they've spent more than City in the last 10 years. They dominated the transfer market it for years. They can play the victim all they want but fact is they've spent, it isnt Citys fault they've spent it on piles of *****. I really don't get why so many people defend the elite clubs after decades of corruption and dodginess. I think its bloody brilliant someone's knocked them off their perch and now they feel like the rest of us little fans do
They could take it down to seasons to keep it in bite sized chunks. Of course there is hypocrisy amongst supporters of Man U but City have flouted the rules on an industrial scale. If they are found to have broken rules they agreed to and taken great lengths to hide this of course they have cheated. The attitudes of other ‘big clubs’ don’t prevent that from being true.
Please be the football equivalent of Lance Armstrong. Please be the football equivalent of Lance Armstrong...
To be fair to Arsenal they didn't really bottle it. They took 40 points from the last 15 league games, scoring 44 and conceding 7.
