    How poor are United though? Huge support home and away and putting in displays like this. Good job most haven’t to travel far after the game.

    I think the injury argument works for clubs like Newcastle where there’s a huge drop off in talent from their first eleven or for Wolves who don’t have a big squad but it’s hard to argue it for Man Utd when they have one of the most expensively assembled squads in the world.

    Hojlund £70m, Mount £50m, Casemiro a multi time champions league winner, Antony £75m, Onana for a huge fee as an ‘upgrade’ on De Gea, £50m Wan Bissaka.

    On another note how good is Adam Wharton? I didn’t hear much about him when he was at Blackburn but he’s playing brilliantly for Palace. England’s desperate for a defensive midfielder to provide back up to Rice & he looks the real deal.
