    highly unlikely that we'll get promoted therefore highly unlikely that we'll get mullered every week by teams that look light years above us.
    Imagine that lot we've been watching doddering around in the Champ.

    Not when £6m is taken out to cover the costs and a large chunk of the current squad are likely to have promotion related increases in salary in their contract. We'd be watching the same dross, just paying them more for the "privilege".

    The 6mill loss we need to cover is due to being out of the championship mate. Had we won promotion, the incoming money from Kitch & Mads would pay off any debt

    But surely that means that the 6m is money we are already spending but being in the championship means it is covered (out of the 12m uptick in income for being in the championship). But when we are in L1, its money we don't have and is a loss that the board are covering? That's my point, going up wouldn't mean we can spend 12m trying to stay there because 6m is already accounted for. Or am I being dense?
