He thinks he looks mint and he's getting himself out there. "Look at me, I'm mean and moody, and I know someone who knows someone who likes The Byrds, has seen The Graduate and read Catcher in the Rye."
British man in mid 20s posts picture of self on social media. Hold the front page! Now a forum full of bitter fans take the opportunity to use this picture as an excuse to make cheap jokes at the expense of his looks and supposed intelligence. All because he wasn't full of charisma in an interview and hasn't signed a new contract? Anybody on this forum partaking in this type of abuse (because that's what it is) claiming the club, the squad, even the board are "toxic" or souring the atmosphere around the place needs to take a long hard look in the mirror. Toxicity breeds toxicity.
Wow, that's quite the reach!! It was just a bit of fun and a friendly dig at the loons on here who make 5 from 2+2. Nothing like a good overreaction, eh?
So you were thinking the same as me ehh Daz. And if its not a transplant, that's a hell of a parting he's got there (as uncle Albert once said!).
Nope, not having that. What some people on this thread are doing is attacking a young man about his hair line and calling him stupid. The words are on the page in black and white and are clear. People really think players don't look at social media and forums and pour through pages of abuse and insults about them and their performances? How much pressure and damage and pain that might cause? You didn't make the offensive comments but don't minimise the harm that those comments can cause. It makes me mad that people are allowed to engage in this behaviour, yet when a thread about mental health comes up I'm sure all these people will jump on the bandwagon and ignore their unhelpful contributions.
Yep, goodness me. And before you say this is a sensitive / snowflake reaction, let's review the facts. You, a fully grown man, have chosen to abuse a young man on the internet because he plays for a team that you like and he has not played to your desired standard / has not expressed an intention to extend his contract at that club.
If players are daft enough to read fan forums that's on them. It's not like being tweeted rubbish on social media or shouting at them at a game. What's said on here which is a "fans forum" is very easy for a player to avoid.
