The ref had a clear view and it was a clear penalty. Sad because I think we would have won otherwise.
Well we played well tonight for much more than 5 minute spells, if you couldn’t see that then there’s no point discussing with you.
I feel far worse tonight than at any of the recent poor performances. With them we didn’t deserve anything & didn’t get anything. Tonight I felt like we deserved at least a point if not 3. We were excellent. Just two moments of stupidity did for us. I hope they can take some confidence from that. Also how frustrating was it that the referee blew up bang on 8 minutes. There should’ve been at least 1 more minute if not 2 with how long the ball was out of play during that 8 minutes. Just because there’s going to be a pitch invasion we blow up early now do we? Absolutely ridiculous. I don’t think it’ll make a difference as I think we’ll make the play offs anyway but that shouldn’t be allowed to happen. Completely unprofessional from the referee.
One of our players certainly gets a knock to his head, possibly twice, but I can't tell if he's punched or someone bumps into him.
I fell in to the trap of thinking we just weren't scoring enough goals to win games, largely due to the slow build up and lack of strikers other than Cole firing. Quite clear to anyone now that our defence is costing us time after time. Simply cannot get promoted when conceding 2 and 3 goals every game.
Not clearly to me. Too many people and all happens too fast. Not saying it doesn't happen, just that I can't tell from the clip that's been shared.
I think he's our best player and he works his socks off, but he made a bad decision and it cost us the game unfortunately.
We picked up a point on Saturday and we gave Portsmouth a run for their money. I’m hoping we can take that into our next two games; I hope we do.
Architects of our own demise. 2-1 up, on top in terms of play, give away a stupid penalty then can’t defend a corner. This one can’t even be blamed on Collins, surely. Players on the pitch letting themselves down.
I need to see it again, but he didn't get the ball, but I don't think he got the man either. Their player knew he had messed up and turned into Mark Spitz.
Played well against a jittery Portsmouth team but yet again couldn't see the win out against a promotion rival, I just think that Collins doesn't instill the killer instinct for the big games and won't have the balls to get us promoted. It would have been such a big confidence booster traveling back from Portsmouth with 3 points.
I'm not questioning the challenge, I'm questioning where the midfield and rest of defence is. I will give him credit for tracking back and giving his all for the cause. It's a "Striker challenge" but let's not pile on him. He's been for me our player of the year. Gives everything for the cause. And he's not even ours.
