Because it's much less likely for a male employee to be told his clothing is inappropriate then employment tribunals regularly judge that the kind of behaviour alleged is indeed sexual discrimination and/or sexual harassment. That's not my opinion, it's the findings of many employment tribunals.
We are not talking about any other case than this. And if it's about etiquette in the workplace especially in office environments, it will be in mosts contracts when dealing with the public. You are talking about behaviour above and beyond. Not just a "please wear appropriate clothing whilst in the workplace." The flirting comment is summat different. If true.
Let's be honest non of us has a clue as to the rights and wrongs of the situation, we take sides that suits our narrative. It does seem Norwood has got an axe to grind and taken the chance on what is tenuous link to put the boot in. The Cotter one is a bit odd nothing wrong with supporting an former colleague but to take to X to do this is not the most sensible decision in my book. The list of mistakes since the new board took control is starting to add up all of them were avoidable ,some professionalism is needed.
The fact a member of our new board is so active on X means that it has become an established “management” channel of communication. Don’t we all long for the days when the only tweets we saw were from the official club account of Chien Lee when we had won…
Not good is it though. I can't help but think with all these **** shows and players speaking out that some more mistakes are about to happen.
Yes just because it’s a woman making derogatory comments based on gender it can still be sexism. I’d say historically football was institutionally sexist and though it’s trying to change it still lags behind society.
