Bit surprised but absolutely chuffed that he is cutting it in the PL.

One of those players who I'm disappointed we didn't manage to hang on to - we're always going to lose people to bigger clubs, but Stoke felt a bit like a sideways move at the time. Happy it's turned out well for him though.

Jacob just got away with var check on his two footed challenge on Foden. How can he get away with that when Philips got a red at Wembley? To say that var leaves a lot to be desired is an understatement

Possibly the most underrated player we've ever had. I always thought he had the attributes to play at the highest level, but often got criticism on here because he wasn't the best finisher. He had everything else in his locker though, and when he had better players around him at Stoke, he excelled.

Had the right attitude, worked hard and didn't let his lack of goals when he joined Stoke get to him
Pleased for him but he was lucky not to be sent off!

Same ref as well. Except he gave a red for Phillips, which wasn't overturned.

Always thought he could play at a high level as a wing back great engine pace and decent delivery. Not convinced even now he will score enough goals to play up front at this level but good luck to the lad.

Me asking him if he is still s£%#@ and his reply my 5 Yr old kid would have scored that.
