What would’ve happened had we lost the replay?

Not half, but then again wouldn’t the FA also have to shoulder blame so probably swept under the carpet

 

I keep thinking how this wouldn't have happened at all had our first team actually bothered to turn up in the game at Oakwell. I shouldn't, cos obviously its happened, but christ lads - you had to beat Horsham

 

There’s an historical example, where Bolton were beat by Everton who then played Preston and lost convincingly the FA found out and awarded the tie to Bolton.
Preston who had already progressed to next round as result of beating Everton had to replay the tie against Bolton. Thankfully they battered them but would have been interesting if Bolton had won.
