Positioning of the defence all season has been shocking Collins has to take the blame for that. Williams isn't a center back he prefers to play wing back his natural position.
Collins was a defender and he's Head Coach. It's his job to drill the players and select a formation that suits the players at his disposal. Pressure is on him to get a result at Horsham as that would be a truly humiliating result.
Derby have gone a lot more route one this half and their physicality has been too much for us. Midfield look very slow and obvious ...I just hope we learn from this.
It will get worse before it gets better especially if we keep persisting in playing this formation and a WB at CB, Derby haven't broke sweat were making them look good, 3rd goal almost a carbon copy of 2nd keeper just chips it up field out muscled on the first header
Blame the recruitment team they sign em... Roberts covered up a lot but even as far back as Bristol Rovers away..first away game..we were/are all-over the place. Out recruitment is pi55 poor
Yeah no matter how you look at its weird we recruited 2 players in a position that we had a more than capable RWB in Williams yet seemed to have weakened 2 areas of the pitch. Seriously think Collins needs to make some changes to the defence you can’t keep starting the same players and getting hammered.
Williams is not a centre back, he's a full back, no wonder he's not playing well. Styles heart clearly isn't in it. Russell just isn't good enough, particularly playing as an anchor man. Phillips, for whatever reason isn't finding his form from last season, maybe Collins can't get the best out of him like Duff could?
Said previously Liam Roberts being an incredible keeper and Cole going through a purple patch saved us being exposed earlier than this.
