    Carey had a blinder in the Horsham goal plus love the passion of their commentator.

    Their 3rd looked a mile offside at the time, but looking at that, Williams could have been playing him on, and then didn't track the goalscorer.

    I've been one of Williams' biggest fans over the last few years, but he was dreadful last night. Comfortably his worst performance in a Barnsley shirt, and one of a number of players who I feel thought that showing up would be enough to win the game yesterday.

    Just watched it after the Tykes vlog. How we didn’t score ten is a mystery to me. Chance after chance wasted.

    That Horsham commentator was having a marvellous time and he made Jonathan Pearce sound soft spoken. Hysteria at Oakwell!

    Ah well, a replay it is and we won’t let them progress to the next round. Apart from 20,000 less in the ground it was Enfield all over. The result will be the same again in the replay though. 3-0, or maybe 4-1 to us my prediction.

    Interesting because the abuse the lino got on here and various social media platforms was disgusting. Apparently he couldn't keep up with play and it was definitely offside.
    Are those same people going to eat some humble pie.and admit they were talking *****.

    I'm glad that 7th tier Horsham have managed to put out a long highlights package. Maybe multi million pound budget Barnsley will be able to catch up to their level of social media output soon

    I didn't go but McCart and Williams would be lucky to get in Horsham's team on that evidence.

    It smacks of 'lets score early goals and have an easy evening lads' with no shift in mentality when that clearly wasn't enough. I don't know whether the manager or players are to blame but it must be different for the replay.

    From what you can see, it was one of 'those nights', looked a very soft penalty to me and their keeper had an outstanding night.
    That was compounded by a few of our players looking as though they thought we were going to win without putting the required effort in and massively by our incompetence ( Jalo excepted) in front of goal, as for Watters he might make the effort but whoever signed him as a striker was robbed!
