    Scarbrough is always foggy and a bit cold, even at the height of summer lol.
    That's why I love the East coast, with Brid and Hornsea and Skipsea and Withernsea etc. The clue is in the question btw, they mostly all end in '..sea'. :)

    So what were Hornsea and Withernsea called when they were several miles inland? They've only been coastal for the last 200 or so years...

    And I've seen IPL games called off for fog before - or at least delayed. And the dew could make things dangerous as well...
