According to the local fire brigade, if they were called to a fire and used their hoses to put it out, the water would be likely to make it list and possibly turn over. Clearly not fit for purpose. It's main justification is false, because compared to hotel accommodation it's more expensive. The whole thing is a publicity stunt by an incompetent and corrupt government.
I would say a morally corrupt & divisive government, that wants us to focus on this & not homelessness amongst our own people, priced out of housing by years of policy decisions, including the crazy idea of raising interest rates sharply in a recession. Monetary policy has not worked for many years. The tabloid headlines of the Bibby mean nothing, just fill up the headlines in the Mail, Express & ToryGraph.
