Levelling-up largesse for 55 towns, including Barnsley, Rotherham and Doncaster. Thing is, Doncaster is a city!

Anyway, should we be grateful? This funding is spread over 10 years, so just £2M a year. Will it change the way you vote?

Sticking plaster after 13 years of austerity - looks like an attempt to sway red-wall voters or maybe I'm just getting cynical in my old age

Comes no where near the billions that have taken away from Barnsley in the last 13 years. And the promise originally was that the government would replace all the EU money after Brexit too. Where is that because all the investment moneys Barnsley got were from the EU as part of Objective One status. £20m is like a drop in the ocean. Pre-election bribe that is worth nothing in the scheme of things

It'll cost Donny that to change all their 'Town Centre' traffic signs to 'City Centre'.
