    Langstaff has 42 in 45, albeit for Notts County in the national league, he looks really good.

    Stansfield got 9 in 36 for Exeter last season (on loan from Fulham) , he looks very promising.

    Im not sure what Shaw, Dallas and Watters offer. They are ment to be promising. Getting a bit fed up with promising. Proven would be nice. Also would like a striker that can actually hold up a ball to bring other players into the game. We clearly need this but Watters Dallas and Shaw look way off at this time.

    One of the suggested names has 42 goals in 45 games, how much more proven do you want? Someone with a record even a third as prolific at the level we're at will cost far too much sadly.

    Both good strikers but both similar to what we have.

    If we are to sign a new striker we need someone with more presence to hold it up etc. Like Tedic but better.

    Cosgrove would work if the links are actually true. We need a different option not more of the same.

    According to an ITk poster we have two strikers on trial.. Arron Holloway 30. last club Chippenham.. and junior luamba 20 from Oldham.. one he believed was having a medical yesterday.
    So to avoid disappointment TR92 it may be better to lower expectations
